The Story
In Rayadillo, you play as a soldier in the Philippine Army during the Philippine-American War of the 1800s. Some parts let you experience the story as other historical or fictional characters. In the current version, the game takes place in a parallel world where a strange virus linked to a man called Mang Tasio is turning people into "aswang" and causing chaos. You must survive, adapt, and uncover what's really happening while facing both the dangers of war and this mysterious outbreak.
The Long Road
Our goal with Rayadillo is to create an accessible and engaging game for Filipinos, especially the younger generation, that sparks interest in Philippine history. While the game is mostly fictional, it includes enough historical details to encourage curiosity about the real events. As development progresses, we aim to balance fun with realism, making a game that anyone can enjoy while learning a bit about history.
