Overview

You play as a Kawit Brigade soldier who went AWOL to personally check on Brgy. Mambog after the units sent there stopped responding entirely. AWOL stands for Absent Without Official Leave, referring to a soldier who leaves their post without permission, which sets up the morally complex situation your character is in from the very start. This level teaches you the basics of stealth combat without a controllable weapon, where you pick up a dagger from a corpse and fight your way through. It is designed to ease players into the game mechanics in a slower and more deliberate way compared to later missions. What is in Brgy. Mambog and why your character felt compelled to go there against orders will be answered when the level ends. It is one of the earlier levels and serves as a strong introduction to the game atmosphere and tone.
