Overview
A wood log usable as fuel that burns for a good amount of time, acquired from wood sheds or by chopping down trees scattered throughout the levels. It can also be sold for gold in Endless, making it a dual-purpose resource depending on the situation you are in. In the Rails(**level-rails**) level, trees serve as the primary fuel source early in the run before you start finding coal pans in villages. Each wood log sells for 3 gold in Endless, which is intentionally set at that rate to give players a meaningful early game boost. Chopping trees in Endless before buying your first weapon is one of the recommended starting moves to get your economy going faster. Wood sheds are common Filipino household structures and appear frequently throughout the levels as a reliable early source of fuel.
