Overview
A bolt-action military rifle used widely in the late 1800s. It fires a full-power rifle cartridge from an internal magazine typically holding five rounds loaded by stripper clips. Effective range is roughly 500 meters for aimed fire, with a muzzle velocity around 700 m/s depending on ammunition. The long barrel and strong action provide good accuracy and penetration for infantry combat. Standard infantry models weigh about 3.8–4.1 kg and measure roughly 1.2–1.25 meters in length.
