Overview
A lever-action repeating rifle designed for rapid fire using a tubular magazine under the barrel. Magazine capacity commonly ranges from 10 to 15 rounds depending on cartridge length. It fires intermediate power cartridges with muzzle velocities around 400–450 m/s and is effective within about 150–200 meters. The rifle usually weighs about 3.4–3.8 kg and allows quick follow-up shots through the lever mechanism.
