Anthill

Overview

In Filipino folklore, anthills are believed to be the homes of dwende, the dwarves of local mythology, and disturbing one without the proper acknowledgment is considered bad practice. Finding one in the game is more likely to mean ants than anything mythological, and the ants living inside are known to bite when their home is disturbed. The gap between the folklore surrounding anthills and the very real and irritating ants that actually live in them is part of what makes the anthill entry what it is. It is worth keeping the biting in mind before getting too close, whatever you believe is living inside.
